Football App Terms and Conditions

1. About these terms
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Football App demonstration (the “App”), operated by ATW Ltd, trading as ATW Digital (“ATW Digital”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
By accessing or using the App, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
The App is currently provided as a demonstration of features that may be made available to football clubs. Unless expressly stated otherwise, it is not the official app of any particular football club. A live club app may have additional or different terms.

3. Using the App
You may use the App for lawful, personal and non-commercial purposes, including viewing football-related news, fixtures, results, match updates, sponsor information and links to third-party services.
You must not:
use the App in an unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or misleading way;
attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App, its administration areas, accounts, servers or connected services;
introduce viruses, malicious code or other harmful material;
interfere with the operation, security or availability of the App;
scrape, copy, extract or reuse substantial parts of the App or its data without permission;
impersonate another person or provide false account information; or
use App content in a way that infringes another person’s rights.
4. Accounts and security
Some features may allow or require you to create an account. You are responsible for providing accurate information, keeping your login details confidential and taking reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access to your account.
Please tell us promptly at andywilson@atwdigital.co.uk if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
We may suspend or close an account where reasonably necessary to protect the App or its users, investigate suspected misuse, comply with the law or respond to a serious breach of these terms. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue.
5. Football information and live updates
The App may display fixtures, results, scores, team information, tables, news and live match updates. This information may be supplied by club representatives, volunteers or third-party sources.
We aim to present information accurately, but football information can change at short notice and live updates may be delayed, incomplete or contain errors. You should check with the relevant club, league, competition organiser or official service where information is time-sensitive or important.
Demo matches, clubs, sponsors, products, tickets, scores or other content may be fictional or provided solely to demonstrate how the App works.
6. Push notifications
If you enable push notifications, the App may send news, match updates or other football-related alerts to your device. Delivery is not guaranteed and can be affected by your device, browser, internet connection and notification settings.
You can disable notifications at any time through your device or browser settings.
7. Third-party websites and services
The App may contain links to ticket providers, online shops, football clubs, leagues, maps, video or audio services, social-media platforms, sponsors and other third parties.
Unless we expressly say otherwise, those services are operated independently and their own terms, privacy policies, prices and conditions apply. A link does not mean that we control or guarantee the third-party service.
The Football App demonstration does not process ticket, merchandise or other customer payments. Any transaction completed after following an external link is between you and the relevant third-party provider.
8. Intellectual property
The App’s design, software, layout and original materials are owned by or licensed to ATW Digital and are protected by intellectual-property laws.
Club names, badges, photographs, videos, sponsor logos, competition names and other third-party materials belong to their respective owners and are used with permission, under licence, from an authorised feed or for legitimate demonstration purposes, as applicable.
You may view and use the App for personal purposes. You must not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, license or commercially exploit App content without the permission of the relevant rights holder.
9. Content you provide
If the App allows you to submit text, images, comments or other material, you must have the right to provide it and it must not be unlawful, abusive, defamatory, discriminatory, misleading, obscene or infringe another person’s rights.
You retain ownership of your content. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to host, store, reproduce and display it only to the extent reasonably needed to operate the feature for which it was submitted.
We may remove submitted content where we reasonably believe it breaches these terms, infringes rights, creates a security risk or must be removed by law.
10. Availability and changes
We may update, improve, replace, suspend or withdraw parts of the App. Because this is a demonstration, features and content may change while they are being tested or developed.
We do not guarantee that the App, every feature or every item of content will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. We will take reasonable care in operating the App and addressing faults brought to our attention.
11. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Nothing in these terms affects any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.
If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that was not foreseeable.
The App is provided for personal use. We are not responsible for business losses, including loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, anticipated savings, data or business interruption, arising from personal use of the App.
We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, availability or content of independent third-party services linked from the App, although this does not affect any responsibility that the law does not allow us to exclude.
12. Privacy and cookies
Our Football App Privacy and Cookie Policy explains how we collect and use personal information, how analytics cookies operate and the choices available to you. It forms part of the information governing your use of the App and should be read alongside these terms.
13. Children
The App contains general football-related content that may appeal to users of different ages. Children should use account, form or communication features only with the knowledge and appropriate supervision of a parent or guardian.
14. Ending your use of the App
You may stop using the App at any time. If you have saved the PWA to your home screen, you can remove it using your device settings. You can disable notifications through your device or browser settings.

15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the App, our services, legal requirements or security needs. The latest version will be published within or linked from the App, with the revised date shown at the top.
If a change materially affects registered users, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to their attention where appropriate.
16. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you may bring legal proceedings in the courts that apply where you live. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your home jurisdiction.

17. General terms
If any part of these terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining terms will continue to apply.
If we do not enforce a term immediately, that does not mean we have waived our right to enforce it later.
These terms apply between you and ATW Digital. No other person has a right to enforce them, except where the law provides otherwise.
